Ethical counseling in marketing. Philosophical reflections and practical implications

In today's context, marked by growing ethical crises and a widespread distrust of marketing communication, marketing is called to a deep reflection on its epistemological status, its language and its social impact. This course aims to explore, with a transdisciplinary approach, the possibility of a renewed ethical consultancy in marketing: a practice that does not merely mediate economic interests, but stands as a critical and transformative space, capable of generating meaning and value in increasingly complex organizational contexts. Through five monthly modules, the course will address key topics such as the origin of ethical thinking, key normative theories, the comparison between bioethics and “markethics,” the deeper meaning of counseling, and the proposal of Palliative Marketing as a paradigm for understanding marketing as care.
