Ethics of representation in marketing: implicit stereotypes, social complexity and language
During the new training course, the focus will be on the relationship between marketing and representation. We will investigate the ways in which marketing represents our society and, at the same time, how these representations, produced by marketing itself, influence and at times condition the way we think about reality and act in it. The aim of the course will be to develop an ethics of representation in marketing that can tell the story of human complexity without stereotyping it, for the benefit of consumers, businesses and society.
